Set in Manor House Farm’s magnificent four acres of landscaped gardens, this is a great place for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. Crafted from an ancient farm building, Garden Cottage offers totally self-contained accommodation in a beautiful setting. Soaring beams frame a light and airy decor complemented by antique furnishings, Indian rugs and an eclectic collection of art and sculpture from all over the world.

Approached through clouds of lavender, Garden Cottage is a romantic retreat that is ideal for a couple celebrating a special date or simply settling down on holiday. The open-plan sitting area has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with large hob, microwave and washing machine, while a log-burning stove gives the room a focus, as well as seeing off any winter chill.

The spacious bedroom has a four-poster king-sized bed, with an adjoining bathroom complete with bath and walk-in shower. Linens are crisp and towels are fluffy: everything is done to the highest standards. Outside the terrace is a real sun trap, a great place to sit with a glass of wine while watching the resident barn owls in flight.
