The term ‘Wolsey Lodges’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Wolsey Lodges Limited, Priory Steps, 1 Newtown, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, BA15 1NQ. Our company registration number is 01814908, registered in the England and Wales. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:


Access and changes to our site

Access to our site is made available free of charge and access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis.  We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw or amend the service we provide and/or the content of our website without notice.  We will not be liable to you should our site be unavailable at any time for any period.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection and/or on your behalf, are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions and that they comply with them.

Please note that we may change the content of our site from time to time and that any of our content may be out of date at any given time and we are under no obligation to update it.  We do not guarantee that our site will be free from errors or omissions.


Content Standards

  • Give the impression that they emanate from us if this is not the case
  • Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.

Suspension and termination

We will determine, in our absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of our acceptable use and content standards through your use of our site.  Where such a breach has occurred, we may immediately take any of the following actions:

  • Temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the website
  • Temporary or permanent removal of any contribution uploaded
  • Issue a warning to you
  • Issue legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
  • Take further legal action against you
  • Disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary to do so.


Lodges listings

All property listings on the website are the sole responsibility of the Lodge owner and we specifically disclaim any and all liability arising from the alleged accuracy of the listings, reviews or any alleged breaches of contract on a user’s part.

Owners are responsible for keeping their listing information up-to-date including, but not limited to, property descriptions, location, personal information, amenities, prices, accreditations and its availability for a specific date or range of dates. All of which they have access to and can at any point in time change to suit their preferences.

The property description and location are written by Wolsey Lodge Ltd, all Lodges can request to have changes and adaptations made to this information from the time their listing goes live on the Wolsey Lodge website. It is their responsibility to contact Wolsey Lodges Ltd to amend or correct any inaccuracies. By not doing so, each individual Lodge accepts sole responsibility for any and all liability arising from the alleged accuracy of the listings, reviews or any alleged breaches of contract on a user’s part.

We do not represent or warrant that any of the copy, content, guest or property reviews, guest book entries, property location, suitability, pricing or availability information published is accurate or up-to-date even in the case where guests have searched for specific dates or types of properties.

Lodge owners further have the total responsibility to ensure that any password issued to access the website is treated as confidential and not disclosed to any third party.  If you use social media, you must keep all account details secure and confidential and not allow any third-party access.  We have the right to disable any password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, should we believe, in our reasonable opinion, that you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms or use.  If you believe your log in details have been compromised please contact us to reset your password.

Lodge owners are responsible for ensuring that their channel managers are fully functional and that their computers are virus free and do not infect our website.  They must ensure they do not compromise our website in any way (see Viruses, hacking and other offences below).


Enquiries and bookings liability

Wolsey Lodges is a listing website, not a booking platform therefore any bookings that are initiated via the Wolsey Lodge website are not the responsibility of Wolsey Lodges Limited. When you make an enquiry via the ‘Book Now’ button you are establishing a direct relationship with an individual business, who have their own T&Cs and all of whom take full responsibility for the next stages of a booking process, beyond the introduction initiated through the Wolsey Lodge Website, either via email, through their own website or third party channel manager, not with Wolsey Lodges Limited. Therefore, any agreements or disagreements regarding pricing, cancellations, communication, quality of service, issues arising from your time spent at a Lodge be it dissatisfactory or impact your person in any manner of ways in terms of health, allergies, discrimination in any forms are not the responsibility of Wolsey Lodges Limited.


Intellectual property rights

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics.  The material is protected by copyright law and all such rights are reserved.

For your personal use, you may print off one copy and may download extracts of pages and you may draw the attention of others to posted content on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.  You may be exposed to a possible claim for damages for breach of intellectual property.  We reserve all rights in this regard.

You may link to our home page, provide this is done in a fair and legal way and does not in any way damage our reputation.  However, this link must not indicate any form of association on our part where none exists.  You can only establish a link from a website that is owned by you.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

We do not guarantee that our website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. It is your responsibility to ensure you have up to date and effective anti-virus and anti-malware software on your phone, tablet, computer, server, network infrastructure or any other device through which your transact with us.
