Wolsey Lodges B&Bs reveal the county of Lanarkshire, covering the regions east of Glasgow, reaching in to contain some of the city’s eastern outer suburbs but spreading out to include a rolling and often mountainous landscape, dotted with castles and friendly market towns.

The county is defined by being Scotland’s mountainous spine, the watershed heading from North to South towards the border with England. Rivers and streams run east and west through hills, forests and rural scenes on Scotland’s north/south watershed. It’s beautifully central, with both Glasgow and Edinburgh in easy reach.

A luxury B&B is a great way to explore, with en-suite accommodation and a home-cooked breakfast standard in our family-run guest houses. Only the best are accepted as a Wolsey Lodge so you can sleep easy.
