Luxury B&B in England’s smallest county
Holywell Lodge is a small, welcoming B&B in a quiet, rural location. Guest accommodation is in just two bedrooms, one en-suite and one with a private bathroom; both rooms are beautifully furnished with quality linens. Bathrobes and slippers are provided, as are quality toiletries along with a basket of mid-night nibbles. There’s not just a sitting room for guests; there’s also a snug and a dining area as well as a lovely terrace, with views over the large country garden and paddock. All in all it’s a wonderful place to stay.

LocationThough in a superbly rural location, Holywell Lodge is close to two significant attractions of national importance. The award-winning Olive Branch pub is just a mile away in Clipsham, while a ten-minute drive will reach Burghley House, a massive stately home with sculpture garden. This also hosts the internationally famous Burghley Horse Trials. The market towns of Stamford and Oakham are a seven and eight miles away respectively. Rutland Water, one of Europe's largest artificial lakes, is just seven miles away and there are walks - and bridleways - from the door. The nearest airport is East Midlands, an hour's drive away.
Reviews“Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Your attention to detail is amazing, even down to chocolate bars and beer in the complimentary basket. Many more operators who have been running for years should came & stay - and learn! You should change your address to Quality Street. Loved it, we wish you every success” John and Penny Hall, Rugby
