Farmhouse B&B with vineyard and lake
At Lobhill Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast you’ll find more than just accommodation: it’s a whole way of life. Three miles from Dartmoor and close to Okehampton, it has four guest bedrooms, all en-suite, and beautifully decorated and furnished. To make your choice easy they’re colour-coded: White, Yellow, and Green offer comfortable accommodation in king-sized, double or twin beds, while Blue is the largest, with an extra bed (suitable for families) and a sitting area. Breakfast is served in the large farmhouse kitchen with a choice of an Aga cooked full English breakfast or a lighter option. There is no separate sitting area for guests in the main farmhouse, but you’re encouraged to take a drink out to the summer house. Any excuse to explore the gardens is good as they’re a delight. There’s a tranquil lake, the family vineyard and winery with cafe and shop, countless walks in the woodland and rolling Devon countryside all around.

"Beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful location, convenient for the Moor and local attractions. Comfortable well furnished rooms, extremely clean and tidy and very well stocked with locally sourced teas and coffee. Loved the pot of fudge in the room. Breakfast was again locally sourced, cooked to order and tasty. The hosts Jane and Ade were wonderfully warm and welcoming, full of local knowledge and went out of their way to make our long weekend stay thoroughly enjoyable. We would recommend a bottle of wine from the vineyard next door drunk in the snug in the garden, wonderful way to chill after a busy day exploring!"
