Step back through time at this very special Lodge

Prepare to be warmly welcomed by your hosts Eileen and Andy (and their family pets), followed by homemade afternoon tea, served just after your arrival in front of the magnificent inglenook fireplace – reputedly the largest in Suffolk. This Grade I listed Tudor house complete with Gatehouse and colonnade oozes Olde World charm whilst having every modern convenience.

Two large guest bedrooms are in the main house, in the garden, there is a Studio with a double bedroom and with its ground floor access, is ideally suited for less mobile guests.

All rooms are light, spacious and furnished with great care with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring your stay here is quite simply as comfortable as possible. A good night’s sleep is followed by a hearty Suffolk breakfast with eggs from the hens in the garden and an array of fine, local fayre.

The gardens feature lavender lined paths, colourful flowers, an orchard and small woods. As well as being child-friendly, guests can, by arrangement, bring their horses and if staying in the Studio their dog for a small charge.
