Fabulous hosts, with a most impressive wine collection
What makes a Wolsey Lodge truly outstanding and a delight to visit? We believe it is everything that’s on offer at Flindor Cottage, a 16th Century luxury bed and breakfast in the rural idyll of Framsden. Your host Mark has paid close attention to detail, furnishing his rooms with country antiques as well as thoughtful touches, ensuring your absolute comfort.
The bathrooms for each room do not have a shower (one has a roll top slipper bath, the other a Victorian roll top bath). However, if required guests can use the shower in the family bathroom in the main part of the cottage.
In winter, cosy up in front of the fire whilst during the summer the garden has a sheltered terrace to relax and unwind upon. Tea and scrumptious homemade cakes as well as biscuits await you on arrival and more homemade treats are offered at breakfast and dinner (if you decide to eat in).
Flindor Cottage B&B suggests
Come fishing. Your host here has a 30′ angling boat that cruises comfortably at 22 knots. Fishing here, whether inshore or offshore, is massively rewarding and all sorts of species come into the net

- Bio : Given the opportunity of a complete change to his life Mark jumped at the chance to run this luxury B&B and enjoys entertaining guests along with his daughters Having enjoyed a 25-year City career, Mark started a charter fishing business out of Southwold Harbour. Fresh fish is almost always on the menu as is his excellent array of wines he collects! Be sure to ask for a pairing with your meal or at the very least a tipple to round off the end of a day!
