The beautifully decorated family home with its mix of antiques and modern furniture, has top quality textiles and walls adorned with pictures and paintings. A large, elegant drawing room for guests’ use has a TV, open fireplace and French windows opening onto the pretty secluded garden, which guests are welcome to relax in.
The bedrooms (en suite or with private bathroom) are stylishly furnished with ultra-comfy mattresses, Egyptian cotton bed linens, fluffy towels, smart TV (complete with Netflix and Amazon Prime) and generously appointed with luxury toiletries, fresh flowers and other thoughtful touches – typical of the care and attention lavished by these Wolsey Lodge hosts.
The dining room is the setting for the delicious breakfasts, which are cooked to order. Two course suppers, by arrangement, can be enjoyed whilst overlooking the garden and in better weather guests are more than welcome to dine al fresco. - Bio : Amanda, a mother of grown-up triplets, was a City trader and now runs her own fashion label. A keen horsewoman, she enjoys dressage. David is a property developer and also helps with Amanda’s fashion business. A keen shot, skier, and sailor, he was a full-time senior crew for the RNLI Chiswick lifeboat prior to moving to Sussex. David does most of the cooking for B&B guests, but Amanda’s scrambled eggs are renowned! The Wolsey Lodge hosts will be pleased to recommend local attractions and make reservations for dinner at the excellent village pub, The White Lion, for their guests.
