This elegant Victorian former rectory is in the delightful hamlet of Davidstow nestled between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – Bodmin Moor and the coastal area from Pentire Point to Widemouth. Pendragon has won numerous awards and recognitions, most notably a gold in Green Tourism demonstrating that this truly is a special space to stay.
The inside has been totally renovated and decorated in with a mix of Victorian and Edwardian styles. A real ‘home from home’ bed and breakfast experience is offered with two cosy sitting rooms, a roaring open fire, and leather sofas. A well-stocked honesty bar, books, games, toys and an abundance of literature for local attractions are available.
Bedrooms, all en-suite and with under floor heating, enjoy country views, and vary in size but have the same top-notch standard of accessories, linens, mattresses and fine antique furniture. Attention to detail is impeccable, as befitting Wolsey Lodge hosts with many years of extensive professional travel experience.
Breakfasts are tasty, inventive with home cooked evening meals are served in the Orangery. Local produce is championed and includes Cornish-grown tea from the Tregothnan estate.
