Field Green Oast Bed & BreakfastFoxhole Lane, Cranbrook, Kent, TN18 5NP, England
Beyond reproach in every way
A delightful, traditional Wolsey Lodge, Field Green Oast nestles deep in glorious Kent countryside, a perfect location for exploring the picturesque Weald of Kent. This historic building offering luxury accommodation has been sympathetically restored, resulting in a characterful family home with more than a touch of luxury!
Surrounded by ten acres of grounds, complete with pond and paddocks, there is ample parking and secure storage for bicycles. Inside, this unusual Victorian square kiln oast has been stylishly decorated with contemporary furnishings, including some fabulous modern art.
The fresh flowers are typical of the attention to detail from these amiable bed and breakfast hosts. A spacious guest sitting room, complete with log fire, overlooks the garden and terrace (where breakfast is served, weather permitting) is the perfect place to relax after a day’s sightseeing.
The generously appointed guest bedrooms are all en-suite (with under floor heating in bath/shower rooms) and decorated using statement wallpapers and soft, colour schemes that reflect the natural colours of the garden outside.
Careful sourcing is paramount at this Wolsey Lodge and it is apparent throughout Ian and Cathy’s home but most evident at breakfast – the choice is endless.
