Boreham House
Boreham Hill, Boreham Street, East Sussex, BN27 4SF, EnglandAward-winning 5-star hospitality on the doorstep of 1066 country
This delightful Grade II listed Georgian Lodge was the local apothecary, before being lovingly and sympathetically transformed into a luxurious bed and breakfast. Perched upon a ridge, it offers magnificent views over the very best of Sussex countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Nestled within two acres of grounds, expect to find woodland, a walled garden bursting with colour and an avenue of lime trees welcoming you as you arrive. Be sure to ask Simon for a personal tour and to recount his collection of local stories during your stay!
As a 5-star B&B attention to detail is evident throughout this superb country house, which is a stylish mix of antiques and classically modern furniture, coupled with lovely colour schemes and soft furnishings.
As the afternoon ends help yourself to the home-baked goods left on the landings before visiting the ‘Snug’, the perfect location to read, relax or even play the piano! All three rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed, with each named after a small piece of local history. Breakfast is generous and consists of locally sourced ingredients served in the elegant dining room.
