A true barn find near the Market town of Harleston
It hardly seems fair to call Wortwell Hall Barn B&B simply a barn. Retaining its 1700’s heritage of beam and thatch is has been recently transformed into a delightful rural home. Add a chef host, a resident dog and a loving cat and you have the formula for a lovely stay on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
There are three guest bedrooms here, each beautifully furnished and fitted out with TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, and individual chocolates. The Waveney Room is the largest and is basically a small suite with two comfortable chairs and space to add an extra bed or two for children. The Lakeside Room has a kingsize double bed and a bath with a shower incorporated. The Brooklands Room can be set up with a queensized double or two twin beds – choose when you book – and is on the ground floor, with a private door to the extensive garden. Well behaved dogs are welcome and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.
With a lovely guest lounge and a communal dining room, Wortwell Hall Barn is a fantastic base from which to explore the Norfolk Broads, Norwich and more.
