West Stow Hall, Orchard & Garden Cottage
Icklingham Road, West Stow, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 6EY, EnglandOrchard & Garden Cottage
West Stow Hall, the most historic of homes is surrounded by extensive grounds. This is where you’ll find both Orchard and Garden Cottages. These two self-contained holiday cottages, beautifully restored from various outbuildings. These are ideal for anyone looking to relax, unwind and enjoy the slow pace of life.
Totally enclosed and very private, the Garden Cottage is the perfect choice for those travelling with pets as it backs onto the local fields and is set within a walled south facing garden.Traditionally built of flint and brick, there are two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge area.
All the essentials are on hand and the kitchen also has a solid fuel Rayburn; lovely on chilly days for cooking stews and warming your feet.
The Orchard Cottage has been sympathetically renovated with traditional Suffolk flooring and exposed beams, whilst accounting for 21st Century comforts. The full-length double doors in the kitchen/lounge open out onto a small patio area which is great for hot days whilst the oil fired central heating takes the chill off winter. Both bedrooms, double and twin are light, airy and each has their own en-suite with powerful showers.
