Thorpe Cottage is a newly-renovated B&B in a secluded location in the village of Brantingham, just west of Hull. There’s accommodation for four b and b guests, with space for another two children in single beds sharing a bathroom with their parents. One double bedroom has a large private bathroom with both bath and shower: the other has an ensuite with a shower. All rooms are very comfortable with down duvets and pillows, high-count cotton linens and fluffy bathrobes.

The property is double glazed throughout and has underfloor heating. The ground floor is open-plan with plenty of space to stretch out and relax and a drawing room that guests are welcome to use. Breakfasts are served in the spacious dining area with glorious garden views, and evening meals may occasionally be available by arrangement. Special diets can always be catered for.

Thorpe Cottage is set on a quiet private road with no through traffic and safe off road parking. It’s surrounded by large mature gardens with country views north and south, with countless country walks from the door.

Though Thorpe Cottage is very rural, there's a pub/ restaurant within walking distance which is open most days for lunch and dinner. The A63 is one mile away and Hull Airport is about 15 miles drive. The historic town of Beverley is 15 miles away with plenty of offer in the way of shopping, restaurants, theatre, cinema, hotels etc. Walkers love The Wolds Way, which passes through Brantingham Village on its way from the Humber on an epic chalkland journey. Thorpe Cottage is 10 minutes from Brough station and approximately 1 mile from the A63 which has access to Hull, Leeds and the South. To find it by Satnav the postcode is likely to take you to the wrong side of the village: specify Thorpe Drive, Brantingham and you'll arrive at the door.
