Inverness-shire

Inverness-shire, Scotland’s largest county – though smallest in population – is a wild and rugged landscape, containing much of the Highlands and the Inner Hebrides. At its heart is the Great Glen, a geological fault that contains the notable Loch Ness, Loch Oich and Loch Lochy, and it also contains the highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
